Press & Media Notice: Registration and Media Policy

Press Registration Requirements & Strict On-Site Media Policy (Photography, Video Recording, and Interviews)

We welcome journalists, reporters, broadcasters, internet media outlets, and independent content creators (including YouTubers and podcasters) who wish to cover the latest breakthroughs and innovations in optical communications.

Please note that all media representatives must officially register and obtain proper credentials to access the conference venue.

To ensure a productive environment for our attendees and to protect intellectual property, all registered media representatives must strictly adhere to the following Media Policy:

1.

Mandatory Press Registration

All media personnel—including print, broadcast, online news portals, and independent digital creators (such as YouTubers)—are required to complete the official press registration process.

  • Access to the venue will be restricted without an official press badge.
2.

Strict On-Site Media Regulations (No Recording/Interviews inside the Venue)

In alignment with global optical communication conference standards, we enforce a strict policy regarding audio/visual recording and unauthorized media activities inside the official venue.

  • No Photography & Video Recording:

Taking photos, recording videos, or live-streaming inside the technical session rooms, exhibition halls, and poster sessions is strictly prohibited. This applies to all equipment, including professional cameras, camcorders, and smartphones.

  • No Unauthorized Interviews:

Conducting impromptu or scheduled interviews inside the official conference areas (hallways, session rooms, and exhibition booths) is not permitted to prevent disruption to attendees and exhibitors.

3.

Authorized Media Activities & Exceptions

  • Official Press Kit:

High-resolution official photos, press releases, and approved presentation materials will be provided. If you require access to the official press kit or specific media materials, please contact the OECC Secretariat.

  • Designated Interviews:

Interviews may only be conducted in pre-approved, designated locations. To request an interview, you must contact the OECC Secretariat in advance for scheduling and approval.

Enforcement Notice: Failure to comply with these regulations will result in the immediate revocation of your badge and expulsion from the conference venue. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a respectful and secure environment for all participants.
